Event: Demystifying the Law for Charities and the Voluntary Sector

On Friday 19th February, Balfour + Manson will be hosting a free 90-minute seminar at The Gathering 2010.
For the first time in its six year history, the two-day event for the Third Sector, is taking place in Edinburgh, at the EICC.
The Balfour + Manson session is a user-friendly guide to topics affecting the not-for-profit sector:
- Governance issues
- Trustee duties, including the new Protection of Vulnerable Groups legislation
- Licensing for events, e.g. fundraising
- Topical employment law issues
- Volunteer or employee?
- Stress at work, including bullying and harassment
The seminar takes place from 09:00 to 10:30 on Friday 19th February 2010.
