Karen Gibbons
Karen Gibbons qualified as a solicitor in 2005 following completion of her studies at the University of Glasgow and Capital University Law School in Ohio, USA. Following periods with McGrigors and Mowat Hall Dick, Karen joined Balfour+Manson LLP in 2007. Karen has practised exclusively in Family Law since qualifying and now has a varied caseload in this field, with cases in both the Sheriff Court and Court of Session.
More informationKaren was appointed an Associate in 2009. She is member of the Family Law Association and was elected a committee member in 2008. Karen provides a free family legal clinic to the lone parents’ organisation, Gingerbread. She also provides a voluntary Family Law clinic to the Citizens Advice Bureau, on a monthly basis.
Karen is dual qualified in Scots and English Law.
