John Hodge

John has a particular interest in charities and the not-for-profit sector and has conducted lectures and seminars for them as well as on commercial leasing and commercial law matters. He also serves in a voluntary capacity on the boards and committees of various charities.

His current work includes acting for landowners in connection with major developments on their land and acting for pension funds and individuals in acquiring properties for investment.

John has been praised for his work in the Charities sector of Chambers UK Guide to the Legal Profession 2012 edition, quoting that he "gives reasonable advice in clear English and is practical, timely and particularly accessible. Market sources also value his sector knowledge, saying that he understands what we are trying to do - what and how we work."
