I joined Balfour+Manson in 1997 and have worked in dispute resolution since qualifying as a solicitor in 1998. I am also qualified as a solicitor advocate, which gives me extended rights of audience to appear in the Court of Session and the United Kingdom Supreme Court.
I became a partner in 2005. I am currently the Client Relations Partner at Balfour+Manson.
I work in Court of Session litigation, including administrative and public law, commercial litigation and personal injury cases.
Following the 2015 UK Parliamentary Election result, I acted for the petitioners in the first Election Court case in Scotland for half a century.
I also practise extensively in professional discipline and regulation, including advising on judicial review proceedings and appeals to the Court of Session, as well as advising on and appearing at hearings before professional disciplinary bodies.
