I grew up in Stirling and completed my LLB degree and Diploma in Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
I joined Balfour+Manson as a Trainee Solicitor in August 2017, having previously worked as an administrative assistant for the firm for several months.
After completing my LLB degree, I also worked for a year and half in the Tax Department of another sizeable Edinburgh firm where I gained invaluable experience in dealing with personal taxation matters.
Outside of the office, I enjoy playing sport, namely football and tennis, and am currently a member of an Edinburgh Amateur football team. I also enjoy travelling and previously spent a year living and working in New Zealand.
In February 2018, I joined the Employment Law Team and assist Robert Holland (Partner and Head of Department) and my colleagues with a variety of employment actions.
During my first seat at Balfour+Manson, I was based in the Residential Property department. As a member of this team, I assisted clients in a wide range of matters such as the sale and purchase of property, re-mortgages, discharging mortgages and transfers of title. It was during my first 6 months with the firm that I also gained experience in appearing before the Sheriff Court.
