I graduated from Glasgow University in 2005 with honours in Law and Spanish Language.
I completed my traineeship in Glasgow where I received excellent training in all aspects of residential conveyancing and private client matters. After qualifying in 2008, I spent a period of time as the resident solicitor in a high street branch office exposing me to a wide variety of property transactions and private client matters such as Wills, Executries and Powers of Attorney. I spent a part of my career working in family law where I had the opportunity to be involved in a variety of family cases such as divorces, separations and child maintenance/contact matters, giving me valuable experience in civil court procedure.
I joined the Property department at Balfour+Manson in February 2015.
I have spent recent years specialising solely in Property Law and have experience in all aspects of residential conveyancing including sales and purchases, new build transactions, government ‘Help to Buy’ transactions, shared equity purchases, council house purchases, re-mortgages and transfers of title. I have also acted in land disputes including boundary and access matters, small claims cases and debt recoveries.
I consider that my broad experience allows me to have a clear understanding of my clients’ individual situations and to provide them with advice specific to their circumstances. I appreciate that moving home can be a significant and often stressful transition in a client’s life and I strive to make this process as straightforward as possible.
