I qualified as a solicitor in August 2018, after joining Balfour+Manson as a trainee in 2016. I completed my undergraduate law degree and Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.
Prior to commencing my traineeship, I worked as a legal assistant at the Scottish Law Commission. I worked within the contract law and electoral law teams. I assisted the teams to develop innovative reforms to Scots law, most notably being involved in the passage of the Legal Writings (Counterparts and Delivery) (Scotland) Act 2015 through the Scottish Parliament.
Outside of work, I tutor at the University of Edinburgh for the undergraduate Contract & Unjustified Enrichment course. I am also a keen runner and have participated in 10K, half marathon and full marathon events.
I am a solicitor in the firm’s highly regarded litigation department and undertake work in relation to public and administrative law, including judicial review and human rights. I also assist with personal injury claims.
