I joined Balfour+Manson in May 2019 as an Associate in the Litigation team. Since graduating from Aberdeen University for my undergraduate studies and later Edinburgh University in 2011, I have been making a career specialising in litigation. Since qualifying I have acted for client’s in the Sheriff Court and Court of Session with a brief secondment in-house to Lloyds Banking Group working in their debt recovery team. My previous employment and experience has allowed me to take a keen interest in the role of technology in the legal market and how we can reduce our impact on the environment.
I personally take great pride in acting for clients in an efficient manner and listening to their concerns throughout a case. My aim is to provide an empathetic and personal service which keeps you informed.
I enjoy fundraising for a local charity the Tea Pot Trust in Musselburgh. In September 2018 I raised around £1,600 completing the Kiltwalk with my 6-month old son.
I have specialist experience in personal injury actions. This has involved pursuing a range of court actions following road traffic accidents, employers liability, local authorities and insurers. I have worked for both Pursuers and Defenders which has provided me with invaluable insight in a contentious area of law.
