Charity Ceilidh for Charlie House

Balfour+Manson is sponsoring local Aberdeen networking group, Women Connect as it hosts a Charity Ceilidh to raise vital funds for joint charity of the year, Charlie House and Diana Mackenzie, Senior Solicitor at the firm, who acts as President of Women Connect invites readers of Scottish Legal News to attend the Charity Ceilidh to help raise funds for a cause that impacts the lives of many families across the region.

Charlie House is an Aberdeen Charity that seeks to improve the quality of life for children in the North-East of Scotland who have life-limiting or life-threatening conditions.

It provides a vital support for these children and their families while helping them create memories for the whole family to treasure.

The Ceilidh will raise funds to support the Charlie House Big Build.   Its goal is to build a dedicated support centre in Aberdeen, so families need not travel over 100 miles to get the specialist care and support they need.

Diana said, â€˜This is a charity that is so worthwhile and supports many families across Aberdeen City and Shire.  The Big Build will offer families somewhere to enjoy their time together, make memories, with the knowledge that there is specialist care on hand where needed.  It is truly amazing and we are looking to support them in bringing the dream to reality.’

The Charity Ceilidh will be held at the Douglas Hotel’s Grand Ballroom with the ‘reel’ ceilidh band – Iron Broo â€“ well known for its sell-out events at Aberdeen Music Hall and many festival appearances.

A hot food buffet will be served at the interval.

The Ceilidh is open to Adults Only. Tickets are available now through EventBrite.
