Prior to joining Balfour+Manson I worked as a Legal Secretary within the Corporate division for another Edinburgh law firm. I joined Balfour+Manson in September 2014 as a Legal Secretary within the Commercial team and in January 2016 I began studying with Central Law Training Scotland and the University of Strathclyde in order to gain my Paralegal qualification in Wills, Trusts and Executries practice. Â
After completing my qualification in July 2017, I joined the Private Client Executries Team. My main area of work is executry administration.
I am responsible for the investigation of estates, ingathering of estate information, preparation of tax and court forms, liaising with HMRC in relation to Inheritance Tax, distribution of estate assets and preparing estate accounts.
The best thing about my job is being able to help clients by guiding them through the estate administration process, which can be a rather complex and very challenging time for all involved.Â
When I’m not at work you will find me running, walking, catching up with friends and spending lots of time with my Frenchie, Hank!
