Diana Mackenzie

Senior Solicitor

Personal injury / Criminal injury compensation / Medical negligence

Since joining the Balfour+Manson Aberdeen Litigation team in 2009, I have pursued compensation claims exclusively for those who have been injured as a result of accidents, assaults and abuse. It is important to me that clients feel comfortable and at ease, after what has usually been a traumatic event resulting in their injury.

The more I know about a client, the better I can understand what is important to them. Every client is treated as an individual with advice tailored to their specific needs and circumstances to ensure the best outcome.

For almost 15 years, I have acted for diverse range of clients suffering a wide variety of physical and psychological injuries and there is no substitute for obtaining the right result for my clients. The best thing about my role is ensuring the most appropriate outcome for each individual client.

I act on behalf of Pursuers in order to secure compensation where they have been injured through no fault of their own and have particular interest in:

Road Traffic Accidents; Offshore Accidents; Accidents at Work; Vicarious Liability Claims; Occupiers’ Liability Claims; Public Liability Claims; Multi-injury Claims; Clinical Injury Claims

Criminal Injuries Compensation Claims for: victims of violent crimes; victims of childhood abuse; victims of domestic abuse; and victims of sexual assault and rape.

I am also President of Women Connect, a networking group for like-minded professional and businesswomen predominantly based in Aberdeen City and Shire. It is an opportunity to support other women to develop and grow their business offering skills workshops and networking.

When I am not at work you will find me walking my dogs around the many beaches, estates and woodlands of Aberdeen City and Shire. I love the outdoors and am often running, hiking, swimming or paddle-boarding.

Friendly, confident and immediately put me at ease… Good and professional solicitor… I was kept informed all the time by Diana Mackenzie who dealt with the case, always ensured she chased up things on my behalf – I am very happy with the level of the service I received. I will recommend Balfour+Manson to friends and family.
