I studied Law at Aberdeen University and completed my honours degree in 2006. Following this, I worked for the Scottish Government before returning to legal practice in 2009.
I joined Balfour+Manson in June 2009 as a Paralegal working within the Aberdeen Litigation team. Since then I have undertaken further legal studies, obtaining the Certificate of Performance in Specialist Paralegal Studies in Reparation Law from the University of Strathclyde. I attained accreditation as a Registered Paralegal from the Law Society of Scotland in 2013. Having completed the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at Robert Gordon University in June 2016, I commenced my traineeship and will continue to focus on personal injury claims.
Away from the office, I enjoy walking my three golden retrievers around the many beaches, estates and woodlands of Aberdeen City and Shire.
Should I ever need similar services again, I will go back to Balfour+Manson without question, based on my experience in this case. I will also be recommending Balfour+Manson and specifically Diana Mackenzie to my friends and work colleaguesRichard Conway (Personal Injury Client)
I act on behalf of pursuers in order to secure compensation where they have been injured through no fault of their own. The majority of my cases involve road traffic accidents, accidents at work and public liability claims. I also have experience of Criminal Injuries Compensation Scheme.
