I am accredited by the Law Society of Scotland as a specialist in Regulation of Professional Conduct Law. I act for a wide variety of registrants referred to their various professional regulators for a broad range of disciplinary and regulatory matters. I also act in any associated criminal complaints and referrals to Disclosure Scotland.

In addition to this, I specialise in Fatal Accident Inquiries acting for unions, private individuals, and corporate and public bodies. I was notably instructed in both the Clutha and Sumburgh FAIs.

I also undertake a wide range of litigation cases acting on behalf of both Pursuer and Defender clients in the Sheriff Courts, the All-Scotland Personal Injury Court (ASPIC), the Sheriff Appeal Court and the Court of Session.

Prior to pursuing a career in the law I was Head of Humanities in a large international school in the United Arab Emirates.

The best thing about my job is when the professionals I act for are able to return to work.

Thank you so much for all your hard work and patience. I really appreciate it all. I can now start to move on after a very difficult five and a half years.  This decision will make my life so much easier. My eternal thanks.

I have no idea how much Martin earns but if there’s any justice in this world or on performance related pay scheme – this highly professional individual deserves a pay rise! Martin was part of the legal team from B+M who represented me over the course of 2020 It was a tricky case made all the more difficult by the passage of time (30 years) but they made me feel safe from the ridiculous allegations made against me.
