Robyn Coates

I grew up in Edinburgh before moving to Stirling to complete my Scots Law LLB at the University of Stirling, graduating during covid times in 2021. Following that, I worked for another law firm in the Early Careers team. I then returned to my studies in 2022, when teaching returned to in-person, to complete the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Dundee, which I thoroughly enjoyed.

Upon finishing the Diploma in March 2023, I worked at the Law Society of Scotland for the next 8 months, before commencing my traineeship at Balfour+Manson in January 2024. At the Law Society, I undertook legal research for CPD events across a variety of practice areas. I was lucky to engage with experts across the field. I am now enjoying developing my skills as a trainee in the Private Client team.

The thing I enjoy the most about my job is that no two cases are the same.

When I am not at work I will usually be spending time with family and friends, running, or playing hockey.
