Make a payment online
Balfour+Manson Solicitors offer an online payment facility so you can keep up to date with your payments when its easy and convenient for you. You can pay online by credit or debit card using your matter reference number found on your invoice or statement.
We use the services of Legl to process your payment securely. Payments are processed using the highest security standards to encrypt your details and keep your personal data safe. When you click ‘Pay Online’ you will be redirected to Legl’s payments portal where your payment will be taken. During the payment process you will be required to enter the credit or debit card security code and you may be asked for further card authentication by your credit or debit card provider.
You will receive immediate email payment confirmation following a successful payment. Transactions can take up to 5 days to be processed and payments made by credit and debit card are also subject to clearance by your card provider. Outgoing payments will not be made using your credit/debit card payment until we are in receipt of cleared funds.
Legl meets PCI compliance standards Stripe (the Payment Processor) is PCI DSS Level 1 compliant, the highest possible level. Stripe holds all sensitive cardholder data – Legl does not have access to this. You can find Legl’s Terms of Use here and Privacy Policy here.
PLEASE NOTE: This portal CANNOT be used to send deposit payments in relation to residential conveyancing or any other lump sum payments.
Payments by card can only be accepted with authorisation from the cardholder. If you are not the cardholder please contact our Cashroom on 0131 200 1200 who will be happy to help you.
