Senior Associate
I have 15 years of experience working in personal injury claims. I started my career working as a personal injury paralegal before qualifying and working with two other firms, exclusively as a personal injury solicitor. I joined Balfour+Manson in April 2019.
I have experience dealing with accidents at work, road traffic accidents, cycling accidents, motorcycle accidents and general accidents (occupiers liability claims and public liability claims). I have specialist experience dealing with Fatal Accident Inquiries and complex and high value work accidents and fatal accidents. I regularly deal with court actions in the Sheriff Court, Court of Session as well as the All-Scotland Sheriff Personal Injury Court.
I am a Notary Public, I have certification in Data Protection law and I am an accredited Personal Injury Law Specialist by the Law Society of Scotland.
The best thing about working in the personal injury field is getting to meet new people, build relationships with them and see them through their recovery by being able to obtain them the damages to help them do so. I enjoy learning about clients’ professions and visiting workplaces that I would otherwise never see.
When I am not at work you will find me running about after my two little boys, walking my dog or at the gym.
