Sharon McIntosh

I joined Balfour+Manson in 1985, as a Secretary with the then Litigation department primarily undertaking Family and Criminal work and thereafter joined what is now the Family Law team. 

I have over 37 years’ experience working in this area and have always and still enjoy the diversity of family law work and working with the team over the years.  

My role in the firm involves carrying out all secretarial/admin duties primarily for Shona Smith, Jamie Foulis and the Edinburgh family team.  

I still, after all this time! enjoy the interaction with my colleagues in the Family law team, many of whom have been with the firm for some years.  I also enjoy the interaction with old/new clients and the diversity of the work involved.

When I’m not at work you will find me walking our dog Murphy, reading and socialising with family and friends!
