Abigail O'Sullivan

I am a solicitor in the Family Law team in our Edinburgh office. I completed my Law Degree and Diploma in Professional Practice at the University of Edinburgh, including a study abroad year at the University of Texas at Austin. I qualified as a solicitor in 2024.

My area of practice involves advising clients on a wide range of family law matters, including divorce and financial provision on separation, cohabitation claims, child-related disputes, adoption and pre-nuptial/post-nuptial agreements. While I will strive to resolve matters extrajudicially wherever possible, I am also experienced in raising and acting in proceedings in Sheriff Courts across Scotland and instructing Counsel in the Court of Session.

I am committed to securing the best possible outcome for my clients and recognise the importance of providing clear and pragmatic advice. It is my highest priority to ensure my clients feel supported and well-informed during what is often is one of the most challenging periods of their lives.

When am I not at work I enjoy hillwalking, painting and travelling.
