Forida Begum

I studied at Edinburgh Napier University for my LLB degree and thereafter at University of Edinburgh for the Diploma in Professional Legal Practice. I completed my traineeship at a reputable firm in Glasgow where I did Employment Law and Family and Private client.

After qualifying in July 2024, I switched to Private Client work dealing with Executry administration at a firm in Edinburgh. I joined Balfour+Manson in July 2025 working in their Private Client team where I continue dealing with Executries as well as all other aspects of Private Client work – Wills, Powers of Attorney and Trust administration.

The best thing about my job is supporting clients as they navigate emotionally charged situations, offering them a sense of closure, and guiding them in planning for the future.

When I’m not at work you will find me painting/doing calligraphy, and spending time with my friends and family (including my cat Miraj).
