I started my career in 1995 at an established Aberdeen city centre law firm.  I worked initially as a legal secretary for a Partner in the busy Court Department.  My interest in the area of Family Law soon led me to undertake further study.  I gained my HND in legal services in 2001 and qualified as a Paralegal specialising in Family Law. In 2003 I joined a small specialist Family Law practice in Aberdeen which allowed me to extend my experience.
I attained accreditation as a Registered Paralegal from the Law Society of Scotland in 2011 and joined Balfour+Manson in 2017 working within their Family Law team. I have extensive experience in assisting with divorce and separation matters, contact and residence issues, guardianships and adoptions.Â
I strive to provide first class support to our family law team in Aberdeen and our clients. I assist the team but primarily Lynne Mulcahy with managing files and papers and complying on court procedure, and generally looking after the needs of the clients. I enjoy the daily interaction with clients and the variety of work which family law entails.
When I am not at work you will more than likely find me at the side of a football pitch or ski slope cheering on my two sport daft boys. I am also involved in Girl Guiding being a leader at my local brownie & guide units. I enjoy spending time with family and friends as much as possible.Â
