Julie Clark-Spence

I love helping people – I always have. I have a real passion for helping clients who have been injured or suffered loss through no fault of their own.

I joined Balfour+Manson in 2007 and since then have practiced exclusively in personal injury and medical negligence.

I act for clients who have been injured in many different types of accident from road traffic to catastrophic complex and high value cases. I have a real understanding of the industries local to Aberdeen, particularly oil and gas, fishing and agriculture. Many of the personal injury claims I am instructed in arise out of accidents offshore. I also deal with international claims.

I also act for clients who have been injured as a result of medical negligence often acting in complex birth injury cases.

I have a lot of experience of acting for families who have lost loved ones as a result of an accident or medical negligence. I take the time to hear people’s story and finding out what their lives were like before the accident. At the heart of every fatal claim is a family coming to terms with unimaginable loss. I will always try to guide them through a complex legal process with compassion and clarity.

I am very much a people person and do my best to put clients at ease through difficult and traumatic times in their lives. I have a real passion for what I do, I will fight hard for my clients and I am very proud of the results I have achieved for clients.

When I’m not at work you will find me on the beach with our rescue dogs.
