Olivia Dent

I am from a small town in Northumberland and travelled up to Scotland to complete my Scots Law LLB (Hons) degree and Postgraduate Diploma in Professional Legal Practice at the University of Edinburgh.

I have previous experience working in legal offices across Scotland and England, working in different legal sectors.

I qualified as a solicitor in January 2025 having completed my traineeship with the firm. During my traineeship, I had experience in Private Client and Dispute Resolution and Debt recovery, however, I thoroughly enjoyed my time in the Medical Negligence and Personal Injury department and am delighted to be working in this team as a newly qualified solicitor. I have experience dealing with Personal Injury cases, including but not limited to road traffic accidents, accidents at work and a variety of other complex accidents.

The best thing about my job is being able to engage with our clients. I am a people-orientated individual and pride myself in my ability to build positive relationships and my ability to help people in what tends to be the most difficult times of their lives. My aim is to always be empathetic and deliver a service that is personal to each client to ensure they feel listened to and understood.

When I am not at work I enjoy socialising with friends, travelling, attending live music concerts and theatre shows.
