My background has always been in HR, and prior to joining Balfour+Manson I spent my early career working for Marks & Spencer, mainly in London in their Head Office and their flagship store at Marble Arch, where I held the positions of HR Manager.

At Balfour+Manson the firm strives to create an environment where people feel both challenged and rewarded. My main objective is to ensure that Balfour+Manson is a great place to work for our partners and staff, so that clients enjoy working with us.

We have a high percentage of staff with long service which I feel is tantamount to proving what a great place Balfour+Manson is to work! 

I am responsible for the development and implementation of the HR strategy across both our offices. My main responsibilities include employee resourcing, relations and development. On a day to day basis, I advise the partners on all the practical aspects of employment law which include recruitment, appraisal, disciplinary, grievance and dismissal.

The best thing about my job is helping to create the best work environment for our employees and being able to resolve issues in a positive way. Work life balance is so important to staff, now more than ever, so I work very hard to try and help staff get that balance. 

When I am not at work you will find me out walking my 2 energetic flat coat retrievers!
