Bryony Walker

I attended the University of Strathclyde to study Law and French, and my Legal Diploma. I spent a year at Université Jean Moulin Lyon III, studying French Law and Language.

I commenced my legal training at a busy high street firm where I gained experience of a multi-service practice, but primarily focused on civil litigation. I joined Balfour+Manson, Edinburgh office in 2022.

I now specialise in personal injury and medical negligence claims. I have across-the-board experience in high value actions in the Court of Session, lower value cases in All-Scotland Personal Injury Court and cases with the Criminal Injuries Compensation Authority. My medical negligence actions concern matters such as GP negligence, birth injuries, delays in diagnosis and fatal claims. In terms of personal injury, my cases include road traffic accidents, accidents at work and matters of public liability. 

I take pride in offering our clients a supportive and friendly service whilst dealing with their case efficiently and with confidence. I am always aware of the client’s priorities and I aim to make the claim process as smooth as possible. 

The best thing about my job is the variety. No two claims are the same, and it is always interesting to speak with the clients to learn more about their experiences, and how I can help them.

When I’m not at work you will find me spending time with my friends and family. I like to grab a theatre or cinema ticket after work, and meet my friends for food and drinks. I love a weekend away visiting different cities and exploring.
