Jayne Stewart

I joined Balfour+Manson in 2022 working within our Family Law Team.

I began my career in 2001 when I joined a city firm in Edinburgh, firstly as a Junior Secretary, progressing to be PA to a Partner in the disputes team. During my time there I gained experience and further progressed to becoming the PA Coordinator within the busy disputes team.

When I joined another firm in Edinburgh my keen interest in family law led me to study. I qualified as a paralegal specialising in family law in 2019. I attained accreditation as a Registered Paralegal from the Law Society of Scotland in 2023.

Working within the Family Law team I have experience in assisting with divorce and separation and contact/residence and guardianship matters. 

I really enjoy the daily interaction with clients and my colleagues. I enjoy being part of a team who strive to assist clients during what can be an emotional time.  

When I am not at work I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. My hobbies are reading, crafting, camping and walking our family dog, Mollie. However, you are most likely to find me at the side of a swimming pool or a football pitch supporting my two daughters in their chosen sports!
